Wyoming Woods Senior Living FAQs

• How does dining work at Wyoming Woods?
  Our assisted living residents are able to enjoy three fresh meals every day that are part of a rotating menu. Our communal dining area offers the opportunity for connection and socialization.
• Will dietary restrictions be respected?
  Yes–many of our residents have dietary restrictions, whether they’re allergies or personal preference. We want our residents to enjoy safe, delicious meals, and we’re happy to work with each member of our community to make sure that every meal experience is a good one.
• What is the furniture policy?
  We encourage residents to bring items from home, decorations or otherwise, to make their spaces personalized and comfortable. However, our rooms are already fully furnished and designed to be as accessible as possible so our staff can provide care. Therefore, large furniture may not be recommended. We can discuss this with you or your loved one during the planning process.
• Is assisted living covered by standard medical insurance?
  Assisted living is typically not covered by standard insurance, but may be covered by some long term care providers. During the planning process, we can work with you to determine the best plan of payment for our care. There are other options outside of traditional medical insurance to finance assisted living.
• Is there transportation available?
  We currently are not offering transportation and do not have a facility vehicle. We can help provide resources for transportation options in the community and do sometimes use a vehicle for outings.
• Can I have my car on the property?
  Depending on your unique needs, you may be able to have a vehicle on the grounds while you’re staying with us. We’ll discuss this with you in more detail.
• Can I have my loved ones over?
  Yes! Visitors are welcome and encouraged. The exact policy for notice and visitation hours may depend on your unique care, so we can go over this in detail with you or your loved one.
• Will I need to do my own cleaning?
  No. Our housekeeping staff will provide routine cleaning for you to make sure that you can relax in a clean environment without the stress or worry of having to maintain it yourself.
• Can I socialize at Wyoming Woods?
  Yes! We do our best to help our residents maintain vibrant and active lives, and a big part of that is socialization. We have a full schedule of activities and events to choose from each day.
